Objective
The Automotive SPICE® Potential Analysis PAM supports the assessment of the suitability of a
potential collaboration or partnership (e.g., for supplier nomination). It
focuses on engineering and technical areas and is less time-consuming than a
full Automotive SPICE® assessment.
The Automotive SPICE® Potential Analysis PAM is based on Automotive SPICE® and Automotive SPICE®
for Cybersecurity. This training explains the Automotive SPICE® Potential Analysis Process Reference
and Assessment Model and prepares participants to apply it in intacs®- and
VDA-accepted Potential Analysis activities.

Prerequisites
- →Several years of professional experience in the automotive industry (e.g., system/software development, project management, quality management)
- →Knowledge of the Automotive SPICE® PAM
- →Ideally: completed intacs® certified Process Expert Automotive SPICE® training or a higher certification level
Framework & Exam
- →Maximum of 12 participants per training
- →The exam is conducted by VDA QMC – a webcam is mandatory
- →After a successful exam result, participants must actively apply for certification with VDA QMC
