The World of SPICE Standards

When developing software-defined systems, a number of standards shape our work. Development grows more complex every year — today, mid-range vehicles already contain over 100 million lines of source code.

These standards form the guardrails for your own development processes. Anyone who tries to derive their processes literally from the wording of the reference processes ends up buried in documentation chaos. We help you find the right path.

What does SPICE stand for? Software / System Process Improvement and Capability dEtermination – two goals (process improvement and maturity assessment), two parts (PRM and PAM). Rating scale: N–P–L–F. Result: a CL (Capability Level) per process.
